May 24-Sunday: Teresa gave her first talk in Spanish to her Spanish MTC branch.

May 30 & 31:Teresa was quarantined Saturday and Sunday because of her cough. There were missionaries found with the Swine Flu and Influenza A so the MTC was on very careful strict guidelines. Teresa had two other sisters which brought them their food to their room. Monday she went to the Health Clinic and only required her to wear a mask. She was glad she could go back to class!

Teresa entered the MTC on Wednesday May 6, at noon. At the MTC the new missionaries were instructed not to shake hands with each other as a precaution against the swine flu. They were also asked to wash their hands frequently. The women folk, Teresa, Mom and Brittney helped water the ground with their tears, the boys held up a little better, they were quite brave; Gary did not cry one bit.

Teresa received her Mission call on February 13, 2009! She is going to Houston, Texas East Mission-- Spanish Speaking!
